We want to build a community which cultivates a culture of shared purpose, values and agreements.

Basic agreement

✅ We welcome everyone at Tepla Gora, regardless of their nationality, ethnicity, sexual orientation, skin colour, religion, abilities or dietary habits.

Ecology

✅ We adhere to the principle of five 'R': Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Rot. These are:

• Refuse - we refuse single-use plastic and synthetic household products (because one way or another, they end up in the ground and pollute the environment)
• Reduce - reduce our use of resources
• Reuse - we give a second life to old things
• Recycle - we sort and hand over garbage for recycling
• Rot - we use waste from the kitchen as fertilizer for the garden and vegetable garden.

✅ We use organic detergents that contain only substances that can be found in nature. For example, with lemon-soda solution and other means that can be purchased at the eco center.

✅ In construction, we use innovative methods of water and heat conservation, and ecological building materials with the lowest CO2 coefficient.

✅ We use modern energy-efficient lighting and household equipment.

Cosiness

✅ We listen to music or the radio at a volume level that will not disturb the silence of the surrounding space and the peace of other members and guests of the community.

🥳 We tend to not host loud events, but should we choose to do so, we would seek prior consent of the neighbours and administrator of the eco-centre

❌ We do not use equipment that creates a loud sound level during work (with the exception of periods of construction and repair work).

✅ We monitor the pets with whom we visit the eco-center so that they do not disturb the rest of others.

❌ We do not keep pets in the eco-center on a permanent basis.
