Tepla Gora (Ukrainian for a “Warm Mountain”) is a place for holistic rest and renewal, inspiration, and co-creation. It’s is also a community / big family, an eco retreat, and a platform for sustainable development.

The project began in 2019 with a group of friends wanting to live in the Carpathian Mountains, whilst being surrounded by people who share similar values and making the world a brighter place.

Every visitor to Tepla Gora (when inspired 🦋) can contribute something of themselves to this space and thereby experience the joy of co-creating.

Impact

Tepla Gora is a social ecopreneurship project operated under the umbrella of the Tepla Gora Foundation (NGO).

Since the beginning of the war, we have been offering free rest and recharge for internally displaced persons, military personnel, and civic volunteers as part of the "Kolo" program.

Tepla Gora also hosts events and activities aimed at recovery, learning, and synergy. Additionally, we welcome individual guests, travellers, and local residents.

Currently, the profits from the eco centre activities are used to improve infrastructure and hospitality facilities. Soon, we plan to direct it to support social and environmental enterprises and initiatives, thus expanding the "waves of warmth" into the world.
